Wendy is assisting with the Trust’s strategic litigation and other initiatives on the African continent.

Wendy practised as a solicitor advocate in London for over ten years, gaining extensive experience in the strategic development of cases and the management of teams working on complex, cross-border disputes. Now a human rights legal consultant, she is interested in the use of strategic human rights litigation for the realisation of the rights of Global South communities, particularly those of the African continent.

Wendy studied law as an undergraduate at Cambridge University. She obtained an Advanced LLM (cum laude) in European and International Human Rights from Leiden University in 2023.
