Before joining the Trust, Ariane was Legal Director at the Public Law Project overseeing strategic challenges against public bodies. Previously, Ariane was the Deputy Director at the Equal Rights Trust, where she led the organisation’s litigation and legal research work on the rights to equality and non-discrimination, as well as its strategic litigation before international and regional courts and bodies. She has worked closely with equality groups and organisations in several countries.

Ariane’s first degree is in philosophy from UCL, and she holds a masters in human rights from the London School of Economics. She qualified as a barrister at 1MCB Chambers, where she remains an associate member.
